Purchase Tracker is a browser-based tool that helps Australian sole traders organise bank transactions, categorise expenses, attach receipts, and generate reports for BAS and tax purposes. The service is provided by an independent Australian developer.
By using Purchase Tracker, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Purchase Tracker is a data organisation tool, not an accounting service. It does not provide tax advice, financial advice, or professional accounting services. The GST calculations, BAS summaries, and P&L reports generated by this tool are estimates based on your inputs and should be verified by a qualified accountant or tax professional before being used for lodgement with the ATO or any other purpose.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your tax returns and BAS lodgements. We recommend having a registered tax agent or BAS agent review any reports before submission.
Your financial data is stored in your own Google Drive account. We don't store copies of your data on our servers. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how data is handled.
We aim to keep the service available but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control. We may modify or discontinue features at any time.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Purchase Tracker is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or expense arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to: incorrect tax calculations, lost data, missed deadlines, or penalties from the ATO.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
The Purchase Tracker application, including its code, design, and algorithms, is the intellectual property of its developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the application.
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the service if these terms are violated. Upon termination, your data remains in your Google Drive — we don't delete it on our end because we don't store it.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be noted by updating the date at the top of this page.
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
